Pediatrician

Pediatrics attends to the behavior, development and growth of children, in health or disease conditions, from birth to adolescence. This specialty, which focuses on childhood, is divided into several periods:

  • Newborn (first month of life)
  • Lactating (1-24 months of life)
  • Preschool (2-6 years old)
  • School (6-12 years old)
  • Teen (12-18 years old)
