This is a home-visiting program for pregnant women or women within the first 6 weeks postpartum who reside in the municipalities of Barranquitas, Naranjito, Orocovis, and Toa Alta. In addition, it helps participating mothers envision a better future for their children and families by supporting them in making the best decisions. Healthy Families Puerto Rico uses the evidence-based “Healthy Families America” model alongside the “Raising Fantastic Kids” parenting curriculum.
