SALUD INTEGRAL EN LA MONTAÑA
We are a private, non-profit and community-based organization, incorporated in the State Department of Puerto Rico since 1974. Recognized by the federal government as a “Federally Qualified Health Center” with a grant under Section 330 of the Federal Public Health Law.
We provide primary and preventive health care. We serve communities with limited resources for medical care throughout our Centros de Salud Integral located in the municipalities of Barranquitas, Bayamón, Comerío, Corozal, Naranjito, Orocovis and Toa Alta. We have a wide range of clinical services and specialized programs, such as Home Care and Hospice, among others. We provide medical assistance to more than 50,000 patients in the mountain areas of Puerto Rico. We are members of the Lares HIV / AIDS Consortium since 1997.
For the past 48 years we have taken care of the health of the communities we serve. The following graph illustrates our trajectory through our history.
